Band 6+: Failure is a proof that the desire wasn’t strong enough. To what extent do you agree?

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

There is an ongoing debate whether the failure is proof that there is not enough desire or it’s just fuel to keep us going. Some people advocate that failure should not be tolerated whereas others are of no strong feelings on the matter. This essay completely disagrees with the opinion and considers that failure is proof that brings success. The details are going to be mentioned in the following paragraphs.

To begin with, this essay believes that even if we have desire, we can fail. It depends on the factors which we can’t control in our lives. Furthermore, sometimes failure encourages us and provides desire. For instance, if someone fails an exam, again and again, they will learn never to give up and keep going. That’s why even if a person has desire, they can fail.

Secondly, the essay considers that failure is a part of life and should be experienced to develop ourselves and calculate our knowledge. In other words, there are some kind of mistakes in our lives and we will fail sometimes yet that is what makes us closer to flawless. For instance, a person that experienced a failure will be able to fix their mistakes and can consider them. They can easily excel in their fields and achieve better results than those, who never failed. Hence, failure is essential in our lives and sufficient to get better results.

To conclude, the essay strongly believes that failure is not a proof or a result that the desire wasn’t strong enough. Failure is a fuel to pursue our dreams and even if with desire, we can still experience it.
