There is the fact that the number of people whose writing done by hand is decreasing clearly. This phenomenon is caused by many contributing factors and in my perspective, this is a negative change. In the following paragraphs, i will discuss further about this.
This exodus from the tactile realm can be attributed to a potent cocktail of factors. The digital deluge has undoubtedly played an integral part of role. Laptops and smartphones, those seductive sirens of speed and ease, have lured us away from the slower and the owners are hard to let go of the allure of these devices. In education, every teacher already had their own stylus to support during the process of transmitting knowledge. Furthermore, the demands of a fast-paced world leave little room for deliberate scribbling. Instant messaging and fleeting tweets reign supreme, leaving handwritten letters and journals relics of a bygone era.
However, the potential dangers of neglecting the pen cannot be ignored. Handwriting is just not a form of recording information, it is an intangible cultural heritage which appeared many thousands ago. The handwriting illustrates the distinctive characteristics of each individual and it includes their style, their resonance and also their emotions which are the modern writing do not have. overreliance on technology leaves us vulnerable to system failures and data breaches, highlighting the importance of retaining basic writing skills as a fail-safe in a world increasingly dependent on digital crutches.
Handwriting may fade, but its value shouldn’t. Technology is awesome, but let’s not ditch pens entirely. Mankind need both keyboards and pens, working together like a cool band. Let’s keep the human touch alive in a digital world!
