In contemporary times, the Government focus on the arts and invest their money to build music and theatres. Some People think that it is a wast of money; they should spend more fund for public services such as the public transportation. In this essay I will discuss both these prespectives because I partially agree with this arguement.
To begin, leisure activities is very essential for everyone. They spend their time to do their hobbies in free time and due to this reason, the local authorities invest their money in the arts. Moreover, nowadays people have hectic lifestyle and on account of this, they are suffering from mental conditions such as, Anxiety, Sleep deprivation and Panic attack. One research study shows that, extra curriculum activities: painting, music and drawing can reduce the stress for some extent. After counting these all reasons the Government use the money for these activities.
On the other hand, those who belive that this is wast of funds give their reasons. Firstly, not all community people use these resources, although around 50% of the population not spend their time on leisure activities everyday. Furthermore, in the developing countries such as India money investment in the public services is more significant than use it for arts. For example, in the rural area individuals are phasing difficulty to travel village to city so, if the local authorities use those fund to build buses or trains it is ueful for suburbs community.
I counclusion, both viewpoints has their own advantages and disadvantages. I believe that both the arts and public services are important for individuals so according me, if the government can devide their funds for both of these it is more useful than only spend on any one. After discussing this I still partially agree with this statement.
