A myriad number of people assume that government should utilize its expenditures on public services instead of spend money on arts, music, and paintings. I believe that both of the statements are negotiable and widely accepted, and have great influence in building a productive society.
On the one hand, the people who advocate the statement of spending a wide amount of a budget on public services believe that it is the pillar of a strong community. The more opportunities a society will have, the more better it will prosper. There are a variety of reasons that considerable amount should be provided to public services to strengthen public transport, hospitals, and life style of the individuals. If the government provides helpful facilities in public transport, it will assist in reducing the statistics of pollution and traffic jams. In addition, health care facilities can also be improved, if the administration provides the needed budget.
On the other hand, definitely, the arts have tremendous impact on the lives of human beings. Music, painting, and singing and the means of recreation, which brings aesthetic pleasure to humanity. Firstly, art is about the inborn skills that nurture within adequate surroundings bringing attachment and sense of belonging among the individuals. Secondly, it also helps to generate revenue, as in the modern world, art is the field of great reward and appreciation. Singers and painters are widely celebrated and earn considerable amount of money, ultimately, paying tax that is utilized in well-being of the layman.
To sum up, arts and public services hold vital importance in any society, so the expenditures that are spent in these two fields should not be ignored. As both fields are the sources of progress of a society.
