It is argued that advertising is not important in life and it just as an entertainment. This could be true, however in my opinion advertisement is indispensable in business because it will help the companies and the customers.
By doing advertising, company can give information about the products to the audience. Good advertising will attract customers to buy the product, and there is also a physchological sector about this: unique advertising will make viewers attracted and remember the product. Furthermore, if the advertisement is viral, then it would lead to big sales and great profit for the company. For example, the advertisement post in instagram did by one of popular influencer in Indonesia which watched by more than 1 million viewers, made 10.000 purchase only in 20 minutes after her advertisement posted in her social media account.
Before making a decision to buy a product, the customers need to know the specification and the qualities of the product. Not only that, customers also usually have to compare the products with other similar products in different brands, they can do this by reading the product reviews made by some customers who have ever bought the product. Basic advertisment which contain ingredients, functions, durability, price, discount, and review to name but a few is essential nowadays, which will help consumers to gain knowledge regarding the products.
To sum up, advertisement is essential for the business life. It will transfer products knowledge to the customers, which if the customers buy the product then it will lead to profit for the company.
