Band 6+: In a public-funded healthcare system, people who are willing to pay for the best and fastest treatment should be able to do so. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

Many countries in the world have a publicly funded health care system to help their people access good doctors or medical. Arguably, health is the most invaluable asset of human life. Therefore, many people worry about having enough money to save their health in case of trouble. People who are wealthy often advocate for special treatment in exchange for a large sum of cash. From my perspective, I mostly agree with the idea that individuals who would like to pay for getting the highest quality and most effective medical treatment should have the opportunity to do it in a public-funded healthcare system because of delay in treatment in some countries and the importance of receiving treatment imediately in a particular scenario.

Since treatment in many countries needs improvements regarding the duration, if people have enough money for the best medical help, they should get it as health determines all aspects of life. In a public-funded healthcare system, it is trivial to wait for months to make an appointment with doctors. Often treatment is unnecessary or belated by the time a person has an appointment. Ordinarily, such a tendency has bad consequences. A person with a toothache, for example, would need to make an appointment, wait for an indefinite period, and then, when the problem was either already resolved or deteriorated, still couldn’t see the doctor. This is one of the reasons why I support the above-mentioned sentiment.

In addition, sometimes it is critical to receive treatment immediately. Those who can afford more money to get treatment faster should be able to do so to avoid negative effects on their health. Considering the importance of health and the human condition for society, individuals who wish to pay for and receive the best treatment within a short time frame should have the opportunity to do so, regardless of whether it is a private hospital. It allows them to be satisfied and ready to work and live after receiving healthcare. People who carry out very important tasks at work, for instance, should be provided with quality medication in a short period if possible to avoid a decrease in productivity and employees’ orale.

In conclusion, the acceleration of healthcare is not typically negative in most cases, as it leads to people recovering faster without having to wait months for their health to improve. Although it can partly create social inequality and conflicts, I believe that with careful planning and regulation, the acceleration of healthcare can be beneficial to society as a whole. Ultimately, governments should allocate more resources to healthcare to ensure everyone has access to quality healthcare.

Some people think that it is better to educate boys and girls in separate schools. Others, however, believe that boys and girls benefit more from attending mixed schools. There are many arguments about whether boys and girls should be educated separately or together.
