Overcrowding is a major problem in recent days, which can be found in many cities. Therefore, the government advises businesses and people to go to less populated areas. In this essay we will discuss the benefits and drawbacks of this suggestion.
On the one hand, the main advantage of migration to the countryside is that it will significantly reduce traffic congestion in central areas of the city. Currently, big cities suffer from traffic congestion, because crowding of people here is the major reason for the large number of cars, because of increasing cars in central areas, finding available parking spaces is very difficult. Furthermore, rural areas offer a more peaceful and less stressful environment compared to crowded areas. Urban areas suffering from overcrowding elevated stress levels among inhabitants. For instance, if we look at Azerbaijan, we can see that, many citizens living in Baku, are more stressed and nervous than rural residents.
On the other hand, there is one noticeable drawback of moving from urban cities to less populated places, which is limited accessing to service. In my view, the lack of sufficient schools and hospitals for education and health, is the main drawback of this place, because in less populated areas, schools are often fewer in number and may not offer the same range of programs and extracurricular activities that are available in urban schools. For example, In the rural areas of Azerbaijan, students may only have access to small local libraries with limited resources, or none at all.
In conclusion, while relocating to rural areas can reduce urban congestion and stress, the limited access to essential services like education and healthcare is a significant drawback. However, with proper infrastructure development, the benefits can outweigh the disadvantages.
