One of the most conspicuous trends of today’s world is that many people prefer to live alone. In my opinion, I am convinced that the benefits of living alone are more significant than the drawbacks. The following paragraphs will further elaborate on them.
On the one hand, there are several benefits of living alone. The main plus point is that it increases productivity. To illustrate, a significant number of people prefer to move to another country and live alone, which can lead to reduced distractions. This contributes significantly to enhancing their productivity. A second merit might be alleviates stress levels because numerous people do not prefer to be surrounded with many citizens and uncomfortable living in a big house with a huge number of family members. The final advantage is that they can live away from control with their actions by family.
On the other hand, living alone would also involve some drawbacks. The main concern is that a large number of people are suffering from mental health issues. To clarify, living alone can lead to increased depression, anxiety, and feelings of isolation and loneliness because they miss their family and friends. An additional disadvantage might be struggling with work-life balance because individuals are unable to manage their personal responsibilities alone, which negatively affects a quality of life. However, I believe that these shortcomings could be easily tackled by connecting with their family regularly and managing their time effectively.
In conclusion, although living alone may include some drawbacks, I believe that the benefits, such as increasing productivity, minimizing stress, and living away from control with their actions, are substantially more significant.
