The reason for paying of medical care has become increasingly common nowadays. Some people believe medicine should be free for citizens, while others argues that people should pay by there own. I totaly agree with former opinion, as healthcare is a basic governmental responsibility.
First, in many countries people already pay a lot of taxes for their health from the salary and others sources. Therefore, no matter what problem has authorities, they should resolve them not by another funds from ordinary person. For instance, research in Russia shows that only 20% of people spend more money on personal healthcare than they spend on taxes. It is unbelievable for most part of citizens, that after all payments for government healthcare, they still should pay extra money for “Private clinics” if they want to get high level of medicial help. Therefore, the bigger part should not pay for others by their own money or pay additional money for service, that thay already must be got.
Another crucial point of free medical care is the unaffordable price some medical operations. According to research provided in Moscow, only 5% of citizens could afford brain surgery, because of complications of the operation, which requires high professional doctor’s skills and expansive supply. About 2000 children per year survive because of opportunities of free medical care.
For conclusion, although some argue that medicine should be paid by the patients, benefits of free healthcare outweigh any possible drawbacks, hence it could save unumerous lives, which could not afford high prices of operations.
