In recent times, individuals get charged for medical services across the globe. However, some people opine that these services should be free of charge. I partially agree with this statement and the following essay is delve into both perspective.
To begn with, nowadays healthcare prices are sky rocketed due to advancement in the medical field and technology for human care. Many dieaseses which can not cure before now can treat effectively due to enhancement in biotechnology..To illustrate, Tuberculosis can be trated 100%. In past times, mortality rate of TB is 75% but in modern times, it declined to 10%. However, Every coin has two sides, these development needs investment, and money so hospital charge individuals to get their invested money back.
Secondly, after the pandemic, economy of many countries are declining and that enforce them to take money from the public for these essential services. Middle class persons don’t have much money to pay this high fees of hospital. Moreover, Insuarance is not properly covered as well.
On the other hand, due to development in medical care, it is diffcult to provide free service immedietely, Healthcare is the basic need of every individuals in the world. Government should start campaign or a scheme which provide benefits to public. To exemplify, Indian Government started Ayushman card which provide medical relief upto 5 lakhs rupees. Various dieaseses must be added in insuarance.
To sum up, Modern development in medical streame is expensive but health of human beings is also crucial. Administration of countries should start a scheme which is appropriate to people.
