Needless to say that many students suffer from stress due to academic pressure and competition, which has a detrimental impact not only on developed countries but also on developing nations, leading to an alarming situation among school and university students. This is mainly because of Excessive academic workload and exam pressure . There are number of solutions which should be implemented to deal with this problem .

To pinpoint the paramount causation behind nothing but words is excessive academic workload and examination pressure, as students manage multiple subjects, assignments, and frequent tests at same time. In other words, many spend long hours studying and preparing for exams, leaving little time for rest. Another infamy root is intense competition and parental and societal expectations, which become inescapable in today’s education system. To optimise the current status, students are often compared with peers and pressured to achieve top grades lack, and a decline in mental well-being

There are two effective solutions to the problem of student stress. One way to tackle this is to ensure that schools reduce the academic burden and adopt better learning methods, such as focusing on understanding concepts rather then better memorization. For example some schools have replaced excessive exam with project based assessments, which helps students learn more effectively without pressure. Another useful approach is to encourage students to develop stress-managment and time management skills. So, that they can balance there study and regular life. For example many studies found that students who follow regular schedules and practise relaxation techniques report lower stress levels. If the above steps are taken appropriately, this problem hopefully be solved

To conclude, student stress due to academic pressure and competition requires urgent attention to protect their mental well being. This cannot be solved by strict rules alone; instead, it should be addressed by educating students and schools about harmful effects.
