There now exists teenagers in numerous countries that following trend postpone marriage and parenthood. In my opinion, this can lead to decrease resources related to country’s economy and is best mitigated by governmental action.
One of the primary challenges associated with postponement marriage and parenthood is resource shortage and economic problems. The lack of human resources cause shortages of workers and dependence on foreign employees. Consequently, reducing productivity, diminishing innovation and technology, and developing unemployment pose significant challenges for country and companies. Similarly, this issues can lead economic complications, due to unavailability of workers. For Instance, in Japan, trend of delaying marriage and parenthood is very high, so that it mitigates country’s income because low tax income from society and many companies was hard to thrive. Since local authorities have few options, this means many less privileged residents must live in conditions that are not ideal.
To overcome these challenges, a comprehensive revitalization is crucial. Government should have policies upgrade to cope this issues, such as giving benefits to people who was married and have a child. Additionally, the integration of suistainable solutions, including collaboration with citizen and foreign, can contribute to the long-term impact to the birth rates in the society. For instance, collaboration Japan with Indonesia to get a population exchange to increase birth rate and also economic income.
In conclusion, increasing trend of youth delaying marriage and parenthood becomes the main factor to economic problem in many countries and the solution for this issues is a policy to presenting support for the people and have partnership with other countries. Where possble, governments also need to educate residents abaout the importance of having children and get married.
