No doubt, we are living in a rapidly changing world, and to meet the demand of the rising population, many countries are facing issues with building new houses to accommodate people. To solve this issue, many people suggested using landscape from countryside, whereas, some argued by mentioning it as a crucial property. I believe that saving agricultural land is necessary to save our environment and to protect the wildlife sanctuary.
Deforestation does not seem like a good option to build new infrastructure. One of the reasons is it leads to the destruction of agricultural land which is a necessity for many people. In many countries, farmers rely on agricultural land to make a living by selling their crops and products. Therefore, damaging the land can damage the economy of the country. Moreover using countryside areas to build a new house may destroy many shelters of wildlife animals. Which leads to an imbalance in the environmental cycle.
Secondly, Trees are known as the lungs of our mother Earth. So, land destruction can increase the level of pollution in the air. As a result, it leads to poor air quality which produces many respiratory diseases for everyone. For instance, pollution levels in megacities are rising along with temperature. As a result, many people are suffering from respiratory infections in the early stages of their lives.
To conclude, the countryside is a home for many other beings and a necessity for our environment. , building infrastructure in forestland does sound a bit selfish of us. Therefore, I believe we should protect our environment by building new homes and find a better solutions to overcome this problem.
