There is a widespread debate about the youngsters living in certain areas of the US, should be restricted from stepping outside at night without any adult supervision. This essay agrees that youngsters should be supervised as they are not mature to justify good and bad as well as animal attacks can be dangerous, especially during nighttime.
One of the main reasons teenagers should be supervised is peer pressure, it can lead them to get involved in substantial use, resulting in developing bad habits like smoking cigarettes, marijuana and using drugs. Additionally, many teens get involved in theft and violence because of some reward or self-esteem boost. Which can be harmful to society and create a bad impression for other kids. For instance, the latest report from CBC News revealed that more than 50-60% of youngsters are involved in substantial use and violence because of peer pressure. Therefore, to save the future of teenagers, it is necessary to have adult supervision during nighttime.
Secondly, There are more chances of getting involved in accidents at night, especially in the countryside of the States. This could be because of low lighting conditions and forests are home to many wild animals. Thus, accompanying young ones is necessary to avoid such circumstances.
To conclude, a restriction may sound like a tough decision for many teens, but for safety purposes, it is necessary to have a parent or elderly along while travelling during nighttime. The sole purpose of a curfew is to prevent accidents, substance use and violence among young kids. Therefore, I agree with the government putting a time limit during the night to save future generations from many illicit activities.
