In this advanced era, where media is increasing the numbers of its audience by casting each and everything about the well-known people, it is arguing like a hot cake that either media should stop to do this and give some space to the celebrities or continuing it as it is also a way to make them famous. Well, I agree with the point that media needs to show only professional aspects of famous people rather than showing their personal ones.
There are lots of reasons why media should avoid publishing the personal lives of a celebrity. First and the foremost reason is security which matters more than popularity of any individual. It can be seen feasibly when such news indulge celebrities’ life in a huge trouble. For instance, almost every all-knowing person has both fans as well as haters, so when media gives information about their personal tours and travelling, anyone can harm them easily by standing in the crowd of audience who love that particular person. That is why, media must telecast only relevant knowledge about a celebrity which cannot b e misused by anyone.
Apart from this, celebrities are the citizens of a nation first and according to the law, they also have right to have privacy in their lives. Likely ordinary citizens, popular people can decide which part of their life should know the audience. Furthermore, news about personal lives of celebrities can enhance their stress level which would affect their mental and physical health as well. So, news should be based on professional life only. Moreover, journalist must follow specific ethics while spreading any news regarding anyone as it may be a cost of someone’s life also.
Consequently, a journalist must analyses the results of a news before telecasting it because it can effect someone’s security, privacy and many more.
