Some famous people often make complaint on how the media report their own private lives. However, I primarily disagree this statement due to the duty that they hold to live under individual’s examine, and the advantages they can gain through the journalism.
As is granted, the celebrities have the right to protect their privacy. This is because, forget about the ‘star’ status, they are just as normal as we are, it is one of the most fundamental rights they have. However, there are various way for them to make the journalists keep away from their personal privacy, including hiring guard, buying more secure houses etc.
General speaking, there are many reasons why the ‘celebrities’ private life being reported isn’t the thing that they have negative comment on. To commence, choosing to be the well-known people, while bringing enormous interests also predestine the future of under audiences inspect. Under the intense of media scrutiny, the fans can gain a deeper understanding of the stars itself instead of the image that been created carefully to show the fans how great they are in all aspects. Besides, the ‘invasive’ journalism can also benefit the celebrities’ career since the news can fuel their leverage by spreading the information which are more attractive to everyone. For example, there are numerous celebrities are famous for their private life, such as Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian who are all famous of the personal tapes with their boyfriends. In contrast, some actors and singers who hold strong skills on their own aspects but being lack of attention on their personal life make them less famous than the others.
In conclusion, even though exposing celebrities’ private life can be considered as invasion of privacy, it also is a duty for them and can also improve their popularity.
