In this mechanical world, it is quite challenging for individuals to keep both their physical and psychological health in good shape. Nowadays, a large proportion of people are opting for their own trainers rather than engaging in games or other forms of physical activities. In this essay, I will explore multifarious reasons behind this growing trend and provide my opinion about it.
To begin with, people rely on personal coaches to ensure trainer’s complete guidance, attention and support. This is mainly because gym staff are usually busy in training all the gym members and consequently, this leads to lack of personal guidance. Unless the person is disciplined, it might be difficult to stay on track. Moreover, there is also a potential risk of injury without proper support. For instance, a recent article in the Hindu magazine revealed that customers with personal trainers are more regular in exercising compared to those without own coach.
On the other hand, there are also downsides to this trend. Not all the community members could afford such expensive training sessions with their own trainers and only affluent persons can opt for them. Also, this is possible only in certain locations. For example, it’s easy to hire individual trainer in developing country like India as the living cost is affordable while it is not feasible in countries like Canada or Australia. Furthermore, individuals might become dependent and ultimately lack self-discipline to keep their health strong. They might always anticipate a person to motivate them to do exercise regularly.
In conclusion, although having individual trainer could have many benefits like staying motivated and developing the habit of exercising regularly, personally, I believe that people should be independent and self-centered especially towards maintaining their own physical and mental health. It’s also beneficial to play sports like badminton or cricket to meet new friends which will eventually help to maintain a healthy social life.
