Band 5+: It is better for people to have a fixed work schedule than to have a flexible one. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

Some people believe that having fixed work schedule is better for people in comparision to have flexible one. Even though there is some truth in the former notion, I mostly agree with the latter.

On the one hand , there are many advantages of having fixed work time for personnel, such as they plan their other stuffs according to that table. Planning other stuffs according to fixed table is good , especially, when having a feast in the house of some relative or organising it in your own home because before going or organising it, you follow your strict time table and this helps you to be more metaculious and organise your daily routine. For example, I used to have one friend when i was studying in my university, and he did not use to plan his daily routine untill he became a worker of one company that has fixed time table of working one week ago. Now he always looks at his watch and plan his daily activities.

In addition to this , there are many drawbacks of having fixed working schedule, such as you are not able to freely organise your activities in any time of your day, except leisure time you get when you finished your work schedule and this brings many inconvenient events towards you such as being unable to go parks when your child asked to go there. Mostly personnel who works full time in daylight suffers most from this kind of situation. Take an example of some teachers that teaches at university from down till dusk, they do not have time for their children in day time to fulfill their needs. In my opinion, this hurts any parent more than a sharp blade.

On the other hand, having flexible work schedule brings many advantages and all the positive sides of having fixed one to the workers. If employee have the right to organise his or her working time, they have the privilige to stroll in the park with their beloved children and this gives enormous happines to parents, especially to the one who works a lot and in many jobs. In my opinion, having a job that has flexible working schedule is better and superior to the one that has fixed one due to many advantages and conveniences.

In conclusion, there are two different opinions about work schedule: one says that availibility of fixed work schedules in occupations is better fow people, other one tells that absence of it and having flexible one is better. Albeit there are some advantages of having fixed work schedule, such as inducing people to be more metaculous, I beleive that having flexible one is better due to presenting more versatility of time managment.
