It is true that it is very important for children to identify the difference between right and wrong at an early age and punishment plays a vital role in helping them learn this distinction. I am in complete agreement with this viewpoint. In addition, I believe that verbal warning is an appropriate method to teach good behavior to children.

To begin with, children need to learn the difference between right and wrong because this is important for society. Young children’s minds are still developing and they have not received enough moral education at an early age. Therefore, when they behave badly, they may not realize their mistakes and might repeat the same actions until crime. This will increase the burden of managing society.

Moreover, punishment is a good way to learn to this distinction. A key reason for this is it can help children reduce inappropriate behavior. Parents and teachers can use punishment to stop children from behaving badly and help children remember the lesson. This can encourage them to avoid repeating the same mistakes in the future. For instance, when a child harms a pet, parents can use punishment to warn them. It will make children too scared to do the same thing.

In my opinion, parents and teachers can use verbal warnings to discourage children from behaving badly. This primarily because verbal warning is an appropriate way to stop children from engaging in wrong behavior without harming their confidence. Generally, children don’t have the ability to resist to stress. Therefore, physical punishment tends to make children feel ashamed, especially in public settings, which may eventually reduce their self-confidence.

In conclusion, I maintain that using punishment can improve children’s ability to distinguish right from wrong behavior, particularly when verbal warnings are applied.

Recognition between right and wrong is a vital ethical issue that adults should teach their kids about.1 I think that I partially agree with the statement, however punishment is a good way to express how the behavior was impolite. Aggressive reactions are not solving problems, therefore they worsen the situation.2 Firstly, penalty upon bad attitude […]

I totally believe that all parents should control their children and take responsibility about their behaviour. You gather attitudes and habits from your nearest members of family, after that you accomplish an age when you become an independent person. If parents skip time of teaching own kids how to behave, children won’t grow up as […]
