It is frequent to see old people leading and directing organizations, while younger often have more operatives roles. This leads workers to a widespread debate on whether younger people might leader in a more effective way than the seniors. Due to my personal experience in different companies, I have to firmly disagree with this idea.
Firstly, seniors, having passed more years in an organization than the younger, have surely pass through a large amount of complicated situations that have given them a unique level of experience, hardly achivable from the junior. This give to seniors an insurmountable superiority that permit them to handle the ever-presents daily issues in an calmer and effectiveness way. Moreover, their knowledge poses an invaluable skill to face with futures opportunitis, allowing, for instance, the organization to expand its market to new and more profitables lands without incur in riskes.
Therefore, it is well known that the interpersonal cumminication and the confidence with the owners of the organizations are two essential skills that all the leaders have to posses. As is obvious, these features are achivable only through a huge number of years working in the same environment. As a result, it seems complicated for younger to have this capabilities, as, due to their age, their have surely worked only few years in an organization.
In conclusion, I believe that it appears impossible to the younger leading an organization in an more efficient way than the senior, in fact the quantity of years spent working give to the seconds one several advantages strongly achivable from the juniors.
