There is a prevalent issue in contemporary society that these generations address as more stressful than the elderly, which significantly leads to health problems. I believe that these phenomena are due to a rapid evolution of technology and societal changes. This trend warrants several treatments that serve as a deterrent against the drawbacks, which will be disclosed by this essay below.

The major problem of this notion is a rapidly evolving technology that has led to increasing competition in job opportunities. These generations have to compete with a vast pool of contenders that force them to have a skill that makes them stand out among those competitors. The problem is that not every individual could make it, hence they get stressed by not achieving their expectations.

Additionally, there is a trend called FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) that primarily causes stress-related illness. The trend in social media forces people to do or have the same thing in order to gain acceptance by society. For instance, having the updated version of iPhone gives them a higher social status than others who do not have it. This trend has a higher possibility of causing stress for people who are not able to afford it.

To effectively combat the stress epidemic, it is important to enhance our skills to come to the surface to overcome a variety of competitors by learning every skill by surfing the internet or joining a seminar, hence they will be well-equipped to fight the competition. Additionally, having a balanced lifestyle could decrease the possibility of getting stress-related illnesses. Buying things that are suitable with our salary and also learning to live a minimalist lifestyle ultimately decreases the overthinking about something that is out of their range.

In conclusion, as the world gets more modern, it is unavoidable that we will overcome complicated problems. Nevertheless, I believe that by acknowledging how to manage the troubles and adopting a balanced lifestyle could possibly reduce the possibility of getting stress-related illnesses.
