It is true that these days, the more advanced types of equipment in plans, the more tasks are done by them that were previously mostly completed by humans. I am of the opinion that this trend offers more benefits compared to any negative aspects it might bring.
Admittedly, there are some minor drawbacks to this trend. The first primary disadvantage that deserves to be mentioned is that the human workforce may have inadequate jobs. It can be seen obviously that when the number of jobs are allocated for modern machines that results in the cutting down of human resources. The plans are willing to make this decision as it helps to lessen the amount of money that has to be paid to employees. Hence, these employees may fall into an unwaged situation/state and get into trouble in working out an alternative job. Moreover, this state constantly lasts a long time and will make employees get financial issues. That leads to a reduction in living standards and they may fall into poverty..
Despite these aforementioned benefits, I strongly believe that it could bring more significant advantages than disadvantages. The one major positive aspect is fostering motivation in improving the working skills of staff. Most of the tasks that are replaced by machines are manual or low-skill jobs. Therefore, if individuals want to keep their position strongly they need to engage in training courses to uplift their working capability. As a result, they can get the stability in income to sustain their needs in high living standard conditions. Another positive aspect is mitigating industrial accidents. The rate of errors made by machines is lower than by humans. So utilizing advanced technology to adapt to difficult tasks in factories is entirely suitable.
In conclusion, I believe that reducing accidents at work and creating more motivation to enhance their skills clearly overshadow any of the negligible downsides that can result from losing jobs and reducing quality of life.
