Nowadays, major cities are developing in the world. However, they are also facing various issues day by day. There are a variety problems , but steps can definitely be taken to tackle the problem.
In my opinion, three problems are facing young people. Firstly, the costs of accommodation and houses are growing, and this will cause some difficulties for people. For example, some young people cannot afford to purchase a house, which causes people to continue living with parents. Secondly, it is difficult to find a job, and the number of unemployed people is growing. If they donʼt find a job, they might not live very well because day by day the cost of living is increasing, such as transportation, food, and clothes. Finally, traffic jams and air pollution are severe problems because they may influence people’s health. As a result, stress and mental health problems are arising.
However, there are several ways to address these problems. For instance, the government can provide affordable housing schemes as soon as it builds some cheaper blocks of flats. Another solution is that more job opportunities should be created for young people, and public transport should be made affordable for all people. The government should also reduce food prices so that people donʼt face financial difficulties. In addition, investing in public transport, promoting cycling, and encouraging electric vehicles can reduce traffic jams and air pollution. Furthermore, cities should create green spaces, and mental health services can help to reduce stress among young people.
In conclusion, although young people in big cities face many challenges such as high living costs and pollution, these issues can be effectively addressed through better housing, job creation, and environmental policies.
