Although such topics, in all likelihood, will never yield a consensual agreement, a constructive dialogue on the impacts of technology on the behaviour of people can lead to thought-provoking discussions. My view is that, irrespective of the numerous arguments that exists on either side, I believe that technology has brought people together rather than driving them apart. Through the course of this essay, I shall put forth my points by considering both sides of the argument.
There are a number of reasons in favour of my viewpoint. Firstly, taking the example of our mobile phone which is readily available in our pockets throughout our day, staying connected with our loved ones has never been easier. In conclusion, the aforementioned discussion constructively justifies my stance.
Another interesting point is that although technology has given us a facility to stay connected with people but in contrast technology has also put a significant emotional gap between us. This is mainly due to the fact that, we’ve lost ourselves so deeply in this newfound technology that we don’t even pay attention to the people around us when we are busy scrolling through the endless social media streams.
To quote an example, nowadays young teens don’t pay as much attention to the guidance from their elders as the young teens from a decade ago, this has been certified by a research from the department of American society. It can be said that the proposition is convincingly justified.
After taking everything into account and discussing both the viewpoints, I stand by my opinion and hence the justification given here reflects on the statement provided here.
