It is being argued by some that, by the year 2050, the conventional design of classroom’s learning would be substituted by various alternative methods. From my perspective, I concur that the advancements in technology are challenging the traditional classroom setting due the availability of online and offline applications and software and the ease they can provide.
One compelling argument in favor of this assumption is that mushrooming growth has been seen in the sector of online education. With every passing day, new gadgets are launched in the market aiming to impart quality education at the comfort of a living room. Also, these applications are designed in interactive way and user-friendly that have increased their applicabilty and utility many folds. For instance, during Covid-19 Zoom classes were introduced to compensate for physical classes, and they were appreciated for their novel approach to education.
Another factor that is seriously undermining the existence of in-house learning system is the hassles associated with the use of them. As to acquire knowledge, one ought to travel to school at a particular time and date, and subject to the availability of a teacher, new alternatives provide hassle-free operations at the convenience of a home. Thereby, making these physical classrooms redundant in near future.
In conclusion, it is a common assumption that new means of teaching will make traditional classrooms settings obsolete by the year 2050 and I agree because these state-of-the-art systems are best known for the simple mode of operations, and they are abundantly available.
