One the one head, financial security is one of the positive impacts of temporary work. This is because children can fulfill their daily needs since they get a salary from their part time job without cost from their parents. Furthermore, another positive impact is new abilities. By having a leisure time job, children can get new abilities because they would meet with expert workers. For example, there are many students from Athirah high school who can improve their insight because they take a temporary occupation after learning in the school.
On the other hand, one of the negative impacts of these is academic regression.That is to say, children cannot focus on learning in school because they have another responsibility in their workplace so they cannot repeat their studies in the home and this will lower their value. Additionally, poor sleep quality is another negative impact. When juveniles must learn in school and also they take a supplemental job so they will lack time to take a rest. For instance, in Jakarta city 2018 the government prohibits companies from hiring employees who are still in school because this will affect their lesson in school.
In conclusion, the advantages of freelance work are financial independence and new adventure, while the disadvantages of these are lowering academic achievement and sleep deprivation. Where possible, parents should consider the drawback of part time work for their children.
