The use of artificial intelligence (AI) to choose job applicants is becoming very popular today. This practice has both advantages and disadvantages. In my opinion, the benefits of AI are greater than the drawbacks because it saves a lot of time for companies.
On the one hand, there are clear advantages to using AI in recruitment. The biggest benefit is speed. Big companies receive thousands of CVs every day. It is very difficult for a human manager to read all of them, but a computer program can check them in a few seconds. This helps companies find the right workers quickly. Also, AI does not get tired, so it can work all day and night to select candidates based only on their skills.
On the other hand, this practice also has some disadvantages. Sometimes, AI can make mistakes. For example, if a good worker does not use the exact “keywords” in their resume, the program might reject them automatically. Another problem is the lack of human contact. A computer cannot see a person’s personality, their emotions, or how well they can talk and work with other people in the team.
In conclusion, although AI has some negative sides like technical mistakes, its advantages are more important. It makes the hiring process much faster and easier for businesses. Therefore, the positive effects of this technology outweigh the negative ones.
