With the advancement of science and technology in the field of transportation, there has been a growing interest in air travel. Some people suggest that affordable air travel should be encouraged due to it being an easier way to travel further compared to other forms of transportation, while others believe that this leads to environmental problems such as air pollution. This essay will discuss both views before justifying my stance that there needs to be cheaper air travel in the future.
To begin with, this encouragement poses a threat to the environment. As commercial flights become more and more affordable, air travel will be busier which results in air pollution across the globe. In other words, the exhaust fumes discharging by the plane are much higher than other transports, which increases global warming.
Nevertheless, I am a strong proponent of supporting air travel, which offers numerous benefits that should not be underestimated. One significant advantage is reducing global communication in the field of cultures and economics. For example, natives can fly to other countries to live in different cultures and exchange their ideas comfortably. Moreover, this phenomenon contains better work and study opportunities. In other words, adult citizens may be looking for better jobs from another country and young people may find suitable countries in their field with lower prices. Furthermore, inexpensive air travel could make people more relaxed and enjoy a journal with the bargain tracks.
In conclusion, while there are valid arguments for directly harming the environment, I assert that government expenditure on air travel provides distinct advantages that should not be overlooked. By increasing opportunities for all age groups, more and more people can access better and safer planes with inexpensive air travel.
