whether children should be educated at home or attend a formal school setting has long been a subject of debate. while homeschooling offers highly personalized learning experience, i personally believe that attending formal school settings has both academic and social benefits.
On one hand, homeschooling provides a personalized tailored approach according to individual’s learning styles and paces. Parents and tutors can focus better on children based on their strengths and weaknesses resulting in more effective learing. Furthermore, homeschooling offer safer and flexible environment for learning protecting the children from negative peer influences such as bullying. For families, who frequently travel and have unique lifestyles, homeschooling can be more convenient for them with greater flexibility and adaptibility.
On the other hand, schools offer more comprehensive and collaborated environment for children. Schools employ trained educators and tutors who posses both subject knowledge and pedagological skills. Children interact with classmates from diverse backgrounds, enabling them to learn social attributes and conflict resolution skills. Participation in group-based activities such as sports and extracurricular clubs, make individulas who are equipped to succeed in society.
In my views, homeschooling can be opted in some circumstances, but it can not substitute the advantages that a formal learning environment offer in terms of acquiring experience of real-world dynamics. Schooling is not solely about learning but also making individuals who are beneficial for society and for nation as well.
