It is believed widely that to achieve the goals and become successful, people should focus on developing their career or education. While others support for this trend, I would argue that each individual may define success in different ways and success can appear in other forms.
Success surely has certain meanings for each individual. The reason is that people have different backgrounds so the definition of being successful also varied. For example, when it comes to impoverished people living in a remote area in Vietnam, if they can afford to study and graduate from high school, it will be considered as a big achievement for the tribe. This can demonstrate to minority students may have less chance to access necessaries. In contrast, for those who are brought up by affluent families, their aims will be set to higher levels due to affected profoundly impacts by living conditions around.
In my opinion, success has more meanings rather than being a millionaire or obtaining higher level qualifications, such as Masters or Doctors degrees. Firstly, I think success is a state of mind where everyone can find their own peace and happiness from insides, rather than from outsides or judgements of society. This can stem from to the way a person take care for his own mental health, fostering a high level of self-connection and satisfaction. Moreover, success is the whole progress, not a destination or a position. To be more detailed, being a better version of yourself is also a notion of success. It means people are trying hard in small things, even achievements hardly to see daily, but after a while, it will be a huge process with all ups and downs. And as long as we keep pushing forward and practice little by little, we will eventually become success.
In conclusion, people have different opinions regarding success and I am not exception. I personally trust that a person will feel successful when he can maintain a state of mind associate with joys and pushing himself to become better every day.
