On the one hand, some believe that the choice of studying abroad have some disadvantages. One of the reasons is that studying overseas will cost more than studying in the home country. It is necessary for parents to spend more money on airplane tickets, accommodations, foods and clothes, besides tuition fees and uniforms. Another reason is that students might be unfamiliar and uncomfortable with the culture, environment and language of the new country. As a consequence, it might have a negative effect on their mental condition and academic performance. Adopting in a new environment often hampers the natural flow of study for many students and some students do not continue their study to earn money when they are abroad.

However, despite some negative aspects of studying abroad, I think it has more tremendous benefits, one most important advantage is it allows people to experience new cultures. In other words, while studying at foreign countries, people are likely to meet many people with diverse cultural backgrounds and exchange their cultures with them. This experience helps to develop their cultural competency, which is invaluable in today’s challenging job market. International companies, for example, always look for candidates who are more culturally competent because these employees can better communicate and coordinate with their co-workers and clients and take more informed decisions considering the divers perspectives, Clearly, the more people travel various places, the better the quality they may achieve.

One potential benefit of studying abroad is that it offers students opportunities to deepen their knowledge. This is because, most of the professors who take classes at foreign university are highly skilled and experienced in their respective field of study. This excellent experience may help students get the best possible lessons in their chosen fields, which is likely to make them much more qualified to work in their own sectors domestically and internationally. It is evident that employees who have foreign degrees demonstrate much better performance in their job sectors compared to those who do not have. Clearly, the more students go abroad for higher study, the better the qualified education they are likely to achieve.

one main benefit of studying abroad is that it can increase career opportunities because while studying in a foreign country, students have chances to receive the best possible unique educational experience from renowned professors, which can help to develop a range of transferable skills what employers highly value and appreciate, such as creativity, adaptability, leadership, time management and communication.
