Nowadays some students tend to live away from home rather than living with their families, due to their university’s location. This essay will examine the pros and cons of both living with or away from families.
One of the main advantages of living away from family while going to university is that it helps individuals to become independent. To illustrate, being alone means that you are responsible for all the home chores and shoppings. However, this lifestyle has its own disadvantages. For instance, they don’t have anyone to pay attention to their needs while they are sick or feel lonely. Furthermore, such events can have negative consequences which in some cases lead to depression.
On the other hand, staying with your parents and going to a local university also comes with some advantages such as being able to profit from your parents advice. For example, they can assist their children in many aspects including, education, finding friends, or even in the key decisions they make while going to university. Conversely, staying in your family’s home has some certain drawbacks. Students who want to achieve higher marks should study in a quiet place. Therefore, staying in your parent’s house may affect your marks in a bad way.
In conclusion, in both scenarios there are various advantages and disadvantages which makes each of them unique.
