Nowadays, young people prefer tending to be single instead of getting married like the previous generation. There are some reasons lead to this state, and I believe that it brings more disadvantages than advantages.
There are several reasons why young people stay single. Firstly, young people nowaday focus on their careers and education. With the speed of country development nowaday, young people are too busy working and studying, therefore, they prefer exploring nature and doing what they want instead of finding a relationship, getting married and being bound by marriage. Next, youngsters want to stay single because they have gone through a bad relationship in the past. They lose their trust in love so they avoid finding new relationships to marry. Finally, the rise of technology and social media will create many new relationships like ONS, FWB,..etc. These new relationships will satisfy the needs of young people, instead of being bound in marriage.
These states in young people’s communication bring many impacts to a country. This state can boost a country’s economy for a short time because they are focusing on working. On the other hand, prolonging this condition will lead to unpredictable consequences. Firstly, the population will become aging because there are too few children born. This also leads to a second consequence. The fewer children born, the contraction of the workforce. Therefore, the country’s economy is in decline.
