It is argued that the advancement of telecommunication tools has offered unparalleled advantages to particular segments of society, while other individuals have reaped no benefits at all. This essay entirely disagrees with this statement because the refinement of communication devices has enabled instantaneous connectivity along with economic prosperity.
The prime reason why I support this view is that the development of social platforms has revolutionized interactions between people, allowing for constant connectivity. That is to say, the improvement of social media has allowed users to transcend geographical barriers, thereby bridging the gap between distant relatives. Centuries ago, rarely could people, regardless of their destination, interact with each other effortlessly. In other words, recently developed messengers like WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram, and Facebook have admirably reinforced social ties, allowing for online dialogues without the need to travel to one’s interlocutor’s location. Hence, the opportunity to communicate despite the distance has contributed to cultural exchange, resulting in increased internal mobility. One vivid example is that residents of Kazakhstan actively participated in a recent Hackathon, which became feasible due to the improvement of communication tools.
Another reason is that the utility of communication applications facilitated the constant sharing of information, allowing for the optimization of various processes. That is to say, a vast number of enterprises leverage social applications in order to streamline operations like advertisement, directing protocols (management), and spreading essential information. In other words, as the management of firms has enhanced, the taxes paid to the government have also increased, resulting in a surge in GDP. For example, the role of Instagram in India has been undeniable since 2010, as social media platforms have created new job positions like Social Media Marketers and Facebook account managers.
In conclusion, I am inclined to believe that the development of modern communication technology has successfully benefited all groups within the community.
