In all the countries we visited, there are many types of transportation available. This includes public transport, such as buses, trains, and subways, as well as private transport, like cars and motorbikes.
One of the advantages of public transport is its usefulness for people who cannot drive or do not own a car. Moreover, university students and school children often rely on buses to reach their destinations safely. For example, parents feel reassured when they know their children are in a public place, traveling responsibly. Another benefit of public transport is its cost-effectiveness. Bus fares are inexpensive and affordable for everyone, from children to the elderly. For instance, in Kazakhstan, a large family of six members who do not have a car can use government transport to reach their desired destination for just 660 tenge.
On the other hand, owning a car has its own set of advantages. One major reason is that it eliminates the discomfort of being crammed into a crowded bus. In every city, there are traffic jams and rush hours when workers are eager to get home to their families. This is when buses become especially crowded. Another drawback of public transport is time management. If a person does not have a car, it can be quite challenging to manage time and complete tasks throughout the day. Buses operate on a fixed schedule, and if a bus does not arrive at the designated stop on time, it can disrupt your plans.
In conclusion, both public and private transport have their benefits and drawbacks. Ultimately, each person can choose the mode of transportation that best suits their needs. In my opinion, public transport is a good choice, just like a private car, because both options allow you to reach your intended destination, which is the primary goal of transportation.
