Band 4+: More people are moving into mega-cities with a 20 million population. Is this a negative or positive development?

A pieces of research illustrate that the number of individuals who lived in the metropolises have increased. I am a staunch believer that this notion has a detrimental effect on the environment and resources consumption.

To embark on, residing in mega cities with high rate of population increase the problem of the global warming. In other words, there are a lot of cars on the road that emit a large quantity of exhaust fumes. For example, a survey conducted by Cairo University revealed that the majority rate of pollution whether air pollution or other kinds of contamination are found in overcrowded places.

Furthermore, the increasing number of crowd will lead to increase demand of resources such as food consumption, transportation, educational institution and non-renewable energy. To explain more, the use of these resources make them decline. For instance, a piece of research was done by students proved that the city suffer from depletion.

In conclusion, after this essay has manifested the above-mentioned points, it could be reiterated that over crowded cities cause crisis and disaster for the region. I am convinced that the government should impose a
