In recent years, it has become more common for artists to be paid with low salaries. In this case, government has to support with funding so that they can carry on their work. To some extent, I agree with this opinion because of some reasons but I still believe that there are other aspects, such as healthcare and education to consider.
There are two obvious reasons why I agree with those who think that funds should be paid by government to artists. First, pictures, which have been drawn by artists takr into account expensive and valuable as compared technological advancements. This is because they attract many foreigners and contribute the development of country’s wealth and economy as a result of this. For example, after Leonardo da Vinci who had been well-known artist in his period, had drawn “Mona Lisa” picture, extra funds had been paid for him by government so that he cannot stop his work. Another contributing factor is that the development of children’s thoughts. Take an instance of this, in different museums of the Uzbekistan, many ancient pictures and portraits which are about Amir Temur, Alisher Navoiy, Tumaris and other great humans, could be found and they increase children’s thoughts and interests which have been knowing about older ancestors.
On the other hand, certain cases should be taken into account. Admittedly, as a consequence of increasing serious health problems, such as cancer, heart diseases, blood pressure, diabets, more and more people are dying, especially, elders. If governments spend much money in case of taking into consideration these, not only can a nuber of deaths decline but also public health can improve drammatically. Furthermore, owing to the fact that youngsters demands which have education are massive at the present time, administrations should not miss this too. As a result of learning various languages and subjects, such as maths, physics, science, English, more and more students are participating International Olympiads. Therefore, funding for both healthcare and education is better rather than spending money to artists.
In conclusion, I have mixed opinions about the discussed topic and certain cases could be true in different circumstances. That is why holfing a firm opinion about it is more difficult than it seems and balance should be priority in my view.
