Band 6+: Nowadays, many people change jobs quite regularly, rather than working in the one company for their entire careers. Why do you think this is happening? How can companies keep their workers?

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

In today’s world, it’s common for people to switch jobs instead of sticking with one company for a long time. I think the main reason for this is not getting paid enough. Employers can fix this by giving better salaries.

To start with, many people leave their jobs because they’re not paid well. Some companies try to save money by not paying their employees enough. Sometimes, they even stop giving pay raises. This makes employees unhappy, and they look for better opportunities elsewhere. A survey by Indian employment rights found that the biggest reason people leave their jobs is because they’re not paid well and don’t see opportunities for growth.

The solution to this problem isn’t just giving better salaries. Employers can also motivate their staff by giving them rewards. For example, they can give bonuses and promotions to employees who perform well. This makes employees feel more loyal and dedicated to their work. It also shows that the boss cares about their staff. For instance, at TCS, the HR department monitors employee behavior and rewards them for good work. This helps create a good relationship between the company and its employees.

In conclusion, the main reason people leave their jobs is because they’re not paid enough. This can be fixed by giving better salaries and motivating employees with rewards. By doing this, companies can keep their employees happy and loyal.
