Until the end of the past century, a dream job was a working place, in which you could settle down for as long as possible, and thus not bothering about the source of money for your big family any more. Now, changing jobs doesn’t seem like a reasonable problem, and more people decide not to stay at their work company for the whole life, but to find another job opportunities, which can be more preferable to them. In this essay, I will consider the possible reasons of this phenomenon and also provide some examples that companies can use for preventing this.
According to the actual statistical data, the total population now counts approximately 8 billion people and still continues to grow. The demographical development creates a room for increasing workforce, consequently providing workers with myriads of new job opportunities to choose from. Specifically, since the last year, around 300 new companies and startups were created only in Russia. This may motivate people to leave their jobs for the more beneficial ones.
Although it is a good trend for many people to have a free choice to work wherever they want to, it may beat companies facility, as they have to seek for a replacement and probably teach new interns. Developing companies, which cannot afford getting rid of their workers, have to increase the quality of their working environment, raise salary levels, and offer some benefits outline work. For example, Russian company Sber asks their job candidates about their preferable amount of salary, whether they like working remotely or on-site, and so on.
Concisely, I believe that there is more than once reason for people to change their jobs on a regular basis, however I argued the major one and suggested how to deal with this trend. It is clear that the society will be experiencing the issue as long as the global population will expand, so companies need to be prepared and take some measures on keeping their workers on board.
