Band 6+: Nowadays, many people change jobs quite regularly, rather than working in the one company for their entire careers. Why do you think this is happening? How can companies keep their workers?

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

Today, a lot of people change work very often instead of working for one company their whole life. This happens is because people want to try a different occupation that would offer better quality of work and life. There are various different ways companies can keep their employees.

Many people today work for many different jobs before they retire. There are two main reason why this happens. The first reason is because their jobs does not pay enough. This is a big problem because people can not support themselves or their family finically. As a result, they look for a workplace that could meet their demands for better life. This makes people change jobs regularly though their lifetime. Another reason why is because they want a better work environment. Sometimes a workplace can have unfair rules or arguments between colleagues occur. For example, a company rule requires a employee to stand up 8 hours a day while working. This creates an unhealthy work environment which leads people to look for a better job. Therefore, the main reasons why people change jobs during their lifetime is because the company does not pay fairly and the workplace conditions are unhealthy.

There are several ways companies can keep their works. The obvious and most effective method is to have better working conditions. When companies have good working place, employees will satisfied. This will ensure that works stay in the company for a long time. Another effective long term solution to keeping employees is by giving them a raise. For instance, if a employee is hard working and is finishing their work on time, giving them a raise would help keep them working for the company for a long period. Thus, companies should aim to provide a better working environment and encourage workers to stay in their company by giving them raises.

In conclusion, I believe people change their occupation regularly because they want a healthier and more financial work place. So, companies can provide a safer conditions for workers and give them raises to encourage them to stay working for them.
