It is obvious that several people express that they do not get adequate sleep. From my viewpoint, this thorny problem has resulted from numerous causes and some particular approaches have to be conducted so as to alleviate the issue in contemporary days.

To begin with, it is understandable why insomnia is so widespread that many people are concerned about their health. Not getting enough sleep can cause work pressure or study stress. To illustrate, when they encounter many problems with work or study, they spend most of their time completing deadlines for the next day, leading to decreased work performance. In addition, an unhealthy lifestyle is also related to the lack of sleeping time. For example, using a lot of alcohol or coffee for a long time before bed stimulates the nervous system.

Due to the aforementioned reasons, I am of the firm opinion that there are several measures which must be applied to take this problem from the root. Firstly, eliminate factors that affect sleep such as avoiding electronic devices, alcohol and coffee so they don’t disrupt your restful sleep. Secondly, to relax and calm your nerves before going to sleep, you can listen to music, read books or even meditate. Lastly, if the problem cannot be mitigated by all the above measures, many doctors are available to help their patients by providing counselling and treatments.

To conclude, sleep deprivation can have a negative impact on your relationships and result from a lot of different causes, especially work pressure and unhealthy habits. From my point of view, people can play sports to help their bodies sleep more simply.
