Over the few decades, technological developments have offered many opportunities especially in access to information. There is plenty of information on the Internet, while people used to find information in books in the past. This essay will examine both the advantages and disadvantages of this matter; nevertheless, I firmly believe that information on the Internet provides many benefits such as easier accessibility and more economical learning process.
One of the main advantages is that the information has better availability on the Internet. People can find the information which they want to learn whenever and wherever on the Internet. For example, a university student who have to prepare assignments may easily research on numerous websites which are regarding scientific information. In addition, he/she can learn various information without going to the library even if he/she is in holidays. Another important benefit is that the Internet supports humans’ economical situations. Many digital platforms are free to access knowledge; moreover, people may use free e-books and articles without payment of expensive books.
One the other hand, one of the disadvantages is not knowing whether the information is correct or not. The Internet has some information; therefore, researchers who use the Internet have to check the new information. For instance, information which is new learning are checked by researchers, so they make sure for true information, but this situation means a second operation.
All things considered, there is plenty of information on the Internet, while people used to find information in books in the past. The advantages of using internet to learn information outweigh the disadvantages. I strongly think that the Internet facilitates accessibility of information, and it contribute to economic situation.
