In recent years, many people enjoy watching foreign films instead of locally produced films due to various reasons. In my opinion, it’s necessary for governments to allocate more money to local film industries.
There are several reasons why people choose to watch movies from other countries. Firstly, frequently the quality of foreign films is much higher than the domestic market. The film industry is very developed in the USA, where all popular companies are placed. Secondly, the most famous actors also live there, so American cinema companies have large budgets for shooting, which they spend on world known àctors, successful producers, technology and the best equipment for filming. These companies have plenty of fans around the world who enjoy all their creations and wait for new releases.
Furthermore, I presume that governments should invest more money in developing film production. Cinema art is one of the main parts of a country’s culture and economy as well, because this industry increases the country’s recognition. People from different corners of the world are interested in movies and they try to find out as much as possible about their idols. It encourages them to visit the countries where their favorite actors are from, which has a positive impact on cities development. Moreover, a lot of people like cinemas, and the amount of money which internationally successful films gain from the audience is unbelievable.
In conclusion, it is clear that people prefer watching foreign movies due to the quality and the broadcasters. Governments should also be interested in this industry and give more financial support to it because that is a great way to develop their countries.
