It is often argued that online learning is more convenient and flexible than classroom learning, while some people believe that classroom learning is more effective. I strongly disagree because classroom learning builds confidence and makes students punctual as well as regular.
The main reason I support classroom learning is that it builds confidence in students. This is mainly because physical classes require students to interact face-to-face with teachers and peers, which reduces hesitation. For instance, during my Bachelor’s, I had to present my research in front of 50 classmates every month. As a result, my communication skills improved, and I scored higher in viva exams compared to online semesters.
Another significant benefit of classroom education is that it fosters discipline and punctuality among students. This is due to the fact that they must stick to a fixed schedule to reach classes on time. For example, during my Bachelor’s my first lecture began at 8:30, so I had to wake up at 5:00 AM every day. Consequently, this routine improved my time management skills, which is helpful for my professional career.
In conclusion, although online learning offers flexibility, I firmly believe that classroom education is better because it helps to build confidence and discipline. Due to these reasons, classroom learning should remain the primary mode of education.
