For people’s lives, few things are more important than acquiring daily commodities. Many individuals prefer online shopping instead of manual purchasing. Although both approaches have their benefits, I strongly believe that its benefits are more significant than its shortcomings.
There are many reasons why people choose online shopping. Perhaps the main reason is time saving. Additionally, consumers prefer it because they don’t need to go outside to buy their desired product. However it is not only saving their valuable time, but also reducing the transportation cost. To cite an example, online shopping has become increasingly popular among disable people who can purchase their necessary products without moving anywhere. Therefore, they are also getting the facility of home delivery. Moreover, purchasing from digital platforms gives variations in product and provides easier options to product return.
Under certain circumstances, people may avoid online shopping due to a range of challenges, such as possibility of getting wrong products, being scammed, shipment delays, and receiving broken products. When consumers buy products from traditional shops they tend to have less possibility of receiving wrong or damage products because they can examine it by physically. For example, my uncle usually purchase fruits from local shops and he always check fruits conditions before buying it. As a result, he gets the best qualities of fruits almost every time.
In conclusion, although online shopping may have several shortcomings, its role in our daily lives is more significant than its disadvantages. Hence, it saves our time, money, and energy. In short, I strongly support that the advantages of online shopping outweigh the disadvantages.
