In modern times, the number of people who are relying on disposable products is increasing. The main reason is that in an era focused on efficiency, people have developed lazy habits. Firstly, they are too lazy to wash. Using single-use items does not need to spend time washing those things, and it also helps save water. Secondly, people do not need to bring a lot of items outside. For instance, numerous travelers prefer to bring disposable commodities to avoid carrying too much luggage. These have led many factories to develop various throwaway products which can satisfy human life. Those are the reasons why more and more people are using these products.
Although these throwaway products provide efficiency, they also make the earth overload. The factories have to use a massive wood to create goods, such as wooden chopsticks. The excessive use of wood can lead to ecological changes, which may affect humans. In addition, most of the one-time-use commodities are made from plastic. Those things cannot be completely eliminated, which leads to a growing accumulation of waste.
In summary, due to the fact that one-time-use goods bring a lot of convenience, which can reduce the time spent on washing items and help avoid carrying too many things. However, those products damage the earth. Not only the overuse of resources but also plastic goods influences the ecological system.
