In the salad days of the millennium, society was polarized into almost two equal groups regarding the notion that persons who commit crimes, must be put into jail. Different people have distinct mindsets. The following paragraphs shed light on both approaches before making a final note.
To commence with the first notion, myriad things are to be shared in its favor. First and foremost, several offenders are a threat to someone’s life they should be kept in jail because if they roam they may become the way to anyone’s hurting. Secondly, persons who have been involved in illegal activities if they are not punished can do such kinds of activities repeatedly. Consequently, law-abiding citizens will not have to believe in the law and the law implementation bodies and it may be a threaten of civil war.
Shifting towards the second school of thought, some claim that it is a useless way to keep law-breakers in jail because there are some luxurious facilities provided for criminals like mobile phones, televisions, sports, and many more. Hence, it is the abuse of the people’s tax. For instance, last Monday there was a column printed in the renowned newspaper about after putting raids there were numerous things seized from various prison houses. Moreover, the government has to
spend a huge chunk of money from the annual budget to maintain the prison homes, that is not very worthy. Every year there are several criminals occur in jails so to maintain daily routines inside the prison houses there is a need for a great lump of money, so it is not the best way.
Having discussed the argument and the counter-argument, I would like to infer that, there must help of prison can help offenders with rehabilitation and give them a chance to become law-abiding citizens of society, and while under imprisonment persons must be provided counseling and a chance for the study.
