One of the widely discussed issues nowadays is that some people and psychologists believe that color can impact human feelings. It is absolutely true that color has become an essential part of our lives and works, and we need to give attention to it at offices and hospitals because it can affect people’s health and ability to work a lot due to helping people in many aspects of their daily lives and performs.
As a matter of fact, businesses have been aware of the impact of color on work experience and employee mood. In general, some offices need to be in bright colors such as blue, green, yellow,… because that can affect employees moods to be happy or sad and also to create a comfortable atmosphere for them to easily focus on their work. For example, some creative people want their offices to be in bright colors, which will make them feel relaxed and effortlessly carry out their work better. As in Mr. Hieu’s classroom, who is one of my English teachers, I always feel asleep because of the blue color surrounding me on the wall, however, if I go to another classroom with some color like yellow or pink, I will definitely never feel asleep like when the wall is blue. Therefore, it will inspire and motivate me and everyone else to study and work harder if the classroom and offices are colored appropriately. In addition, color can swiftly inspire people to think out some new ideas for their works or studies, so workplaceworkplaces should be decorated with bold colors.
While work is about output, hospitals are about the health of patients and the mood of doctors and nurses to do something. Clearly, bright colors should not be welcome in a hospital environment where old patients are trying to recover from illnesses. Here, relaxing and comfortable shades are needed, such as pastel and light colors, to avoid them feeling stressed and uncomfortable. If the hospital’s surroundings are all black and gray, they will feel tired and the healing process will take longer. It is interesting to note that, in contrast to elderly patients, doctors and nurses require positive emotions and moods to encourage them to perform well in many surgeries. For this reason, the hospital should have bright colors to keep them alert and lower the percentage of unsuccessful surgeries.
As far as I am concerned,it is evident that colors impact people’s mental health and their capacity to work. It is important to consider the types of colors used for wall decoration in environments like offices and hospitals.
