Many people think that scientific research should be done and carried out by private companies instead of public companies. In my point of view, I consider that focusing on scientific research by private companies leads to pros and cons.
There are many advantages, on the one hand, of conducting by private companies. The most important one is that private companies can make use of their abilities about finance and creation. In other words, they are able to reach their full potential to discover mysteries all over the world, which leads to a fact that human beings will broaden their knowledge’s horizon. Another aspect is that private companies tend to overcome academic manners whereas governments usually apply dominant-knowledge for their research.
On the other hand, beside the pluses above, there are still some drawbacks that scientific research done by private companies rather than government bring about. Because of logistical organization, governments make plans and do research scientifically. Additionally, governments can carry out research independently by government’s fund. Therefore, they often do research on a vast scale in order to shorten the time of the deadline.
In conclusion, whether choosing private companies or governments to make some discoveries depends on the purpose of that. Generally, the pros and cons of conducting researches by private companies rather than governments are balanced at the approximate proportion.
