There is a widespread opinion that teacher’s concentration ought to be higher on education compared to inspiring students. I firmly disagree with this statement, as the lack of motivation can cause students to lose interest in learning and struggle to achieve their full potential.
One of the foremost reasons why students motivation must be a target is that undoubtedly boosts their active learning. Today’s students doesn’t have a big interest in study, which often results in lower participation in lessons and less effective teaching methods. For instance , many European have reported that the students who are not encouraged or inspired by their teachers tend to be passive in class discussions and less likely to complete exercises by themselves. These situations leads to poorer performance , diminished learning and rejection of involvement to learning.
Moreover, lack of motivation can affect negatively to students long-term development and personal growth. When students are not inspired ,chance to develop critical thinking, creativity and problem-solving skills decreases and they progressively lose self-confidence. For example, students who are not motivated, avoid challenging tasks and group projects, reducing improvement ability. As a result, they lose self-confidence and hesitate to participate, which prevents both academic progress and personal growth, whereas motivated students attend actively, building knowledge ,creativity and problem-solving abilities
In conclusion, while providing education is important, inspiring and motivating students is quite essential. Motivation fuels engagement , encourages active learning and helps students develop crucial skills and self-confidence.Therefore,teachers should balance teaching content with efforts to inspire ,securing students achieve their full potential.
